An imaginative tale from Sages Of The Past.

The owl kept watch above the sleeping observatory. It knew nothing of the calculations inside, yet it and the astronomer shared a habit: looking carefully into the dark. One evening she opened a window, and for a moment they listened together. The notes she made afterward were shorter, but somehow more attentive.
